So what did you do on your summer holiday?

published on August 22nd, 2008 . by admin

Hi there,

Well, I can’t believe its back to school time again already. Boy, the summer went by fast, didn’t it? But I can’t say that fall has arrived here yet in Phoenix, Arizona though. Its still blazing hot here and going to get up to the 110 mark again over the weekend.  So how about you? How are things in your part of the country, or world for that matter? Did you have a nice summer holiday? Did you do anything fun? Go anywhere exciting? For me, I decided that this year with the gas prices so high I would stay close to home and rent a log cabin up in beautiful northern Arizona. So me, my two pomeranians and my mother packed up the car for a week in July and drove two hours, just south of Flagstaff, Arizona, to a place called Morman Lake Lodge, an old authenic western lodge & steakhouse dating back to the 1800’s . It was really wonderful to get away from the city for a short time and just enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, and of course, the old western hospitality.  The log cabins were really nice and backed up to the ponderosa forest and also the famous old historical Arizona Trail which runs 800 miles from Mexico on up into the state of Utah. I really love nature and the outdoors. Its my passion and where I like to go rest and relax. It was great to get out and do some hiking too on the Arizona Trail. So what did you do on your summer holiday break this year? Leave us a comment or send some photos, and let us know. We’d love to know!

P.S. I hope to have a few jpegs uploaded to share with you here shortly too. So check back!

To your increased health, beauty, abundance and happiness!
